State dismisses death penalty against evic racist black convict for vicious murder of a White inmate bludgeoned to death
Shawn RogersRicky MartinThe First Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office has abandoned, for now, its effort to have confessed killer Shawn Rogers sentenced to death. Rogers pleaded guilty in September 2015 to the vicious jailhouse murder of Ricky Martin, who was tied up, stripped naked and bludgeoned with a sock full of batteries. A news release issued by the State Attorney's Office Monday said the decision has been made to "nolle pros," or discontinue, its death penalty case against Rogers. The release voiced frustration with recent Florida Supreme Court rulings regarding imposition of the death penalty. "As a result of recent rulings by the Florida Supreme Court, concerns have been raised regarding the procedures to be used in death penalty cases," the release said. "This case has been dismissed because of those concerns." The release said that the State Attorney's Office would "re-indict" Rogers "once new legislation is passed by the Florida Legislature establishing new procedures to be used in death penalty cases." Rogers was serving a life prison sentence for armed robbery and battery when he attacked and killed Martin, his cellmate of 36 hours, at the Santa Rosa County Correctional Institute. He will remain incarcerated, the release said. The Miami Herald wrote an in-depth article about Martin's death, calling into question a Florida correctional system that allowed the much smaller Martin to be placed in a cell with Rogers, who had a history of committing acts of violence on other inmates. Martin's killing occurred after word had filtered into the prison about the death of Trayvon Martin at the hands of neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. Rogers was reported to have made comments along the lines of "this is for Trayvon Martin" as he beat Ricky Martin, a white man. - (Black-on-white)

Slaying of (White) Indianapolis father on his front porch (by hooded black 'African American' male) still unsolved
black killerblack killerRyan GossINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Ryan Goss did nothing to deserve to die and that’s why his murder is the latest case to be profiled on Indy’s Unsolved. The father of two, a stay-at-home dad and youth sports referee, was shot at random for the thrill of the kill by a man walking down the 5400 block of North High School Road on July 30, 2016. The gunman apparently scouted out a target of opportunity, walking up and down the road from the Speedway convenience store past an elementary school to a nearby subdivision for 15 minutes before firing nine shots at Goss as he stood surveying a warm late Saturday afternoon on the northwest side. Luci Goss was at her husband’s side when gunfire rang out. “About that time I heard some popping noises ,” she said. “I hit the ground. “I turned and I looked and I’d seen this person running down the street, the middle of High School Road firing a gun at our house and then I realized he was shot. I ran in the house and called 911 and came out and started CPR but when I rolled him over I knew it was a moot point but I had to try as a nurse. “I was talking to him while I was doing CPR but he was gone by then.” When IMPD detectives matched what Luci saw with the description of another witness, they came up with a composite sketch of an African American male with facial hair. “All I can remember is he had a hoodie with a hat pulled up in 90 degree weather and I can remember the gun firing with smoke coming out of it,” said Goss’ widow. “It replays in my head all the time.” - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Richfield woman guilty in death of (White) public works employee
Marie Jessica HallTyler LenortMINNEAPOLIS - A Richfield woman has been found guilty of third degree murder and vehicular homicide in the death of a public works employee in January 2016. Marie Jessica Hall, 25, crashed her car into the back of a truck with two Bloomington Public Works employees inside, killing one of them. Tyler Lenort, 38, died. The other man suffered a traumatic brain injury, skull and spinal fractures. Hennepin County District Judge Paul Scoggin ruled that her mental illness issues did not prevent her from knowing her actions were "morally wrong" when she crashed her car. On January 28, 2016 Hall walked into her former place of employment earlier that morning, then walked behind the counter and grabbed two bottles of vodka, throwing money in the air on her way out. She was seen running red lights at a high rate of speed before the fatal crash. Officers interviewed Hall at the hospital where she was being treated for her injuries. They say she was distraught over events in her life, and admitted to driving fast and erratically while going to get some vodka. After taking the vodka from her former employer, Hall allegedly told detectives that she opened a bottle, drank the equivalent of four or five shots of vodka, then sped down American Boulevard at approximately 100 miles per hour. It was then that she ran into the public works truck. She indicated to police officers that she had intended to kill herself. - (Black-on-white)

A 17-year-old McCalla boy was shot to death during an illegal gun transaction in Hueytown, and now police have filed formal charges against the accused shooter. Hueytown police Chief Chuck Hagler on Wednesday afternoon announced two capital murder charges against 21-year-old Deion Dewayne Jones, of Dolomite. He is charged in the Tuesday slaying of Colt Coggins. Jones already is wanted for felony assault in an unrelated crime. The charge is capital, Hagler said, because the killing happened in the course of a robbery, and because the shots were fired into a vehicle. Hueytown officers responded to the shooting on Carver Avenue, but arrived to find everyone had scattered.
They set up a perimeter and began searching for two suspects, both black males, and also issued a lookout bulletin for the car that fled the scene with the victim inside.

Cops: (Colored) Gwinnett boy, 15, accused of murder said he ‘had’ to shoot (white) man
Caziah BrownCurtis 'CJ' OldhamFifteen-year-old Caziah Brown leaned against the defendant’s table in Gwinnett County Magistrate Court on Wednesday afternoon, arms tucked into a large grey sweatshirt as tired eyes peered out from behind dangling braids. The teen alternately yawned, listened intently and peeked at family seated nearby as a homicide detective laid out the details of the murder case against him: counterfeit money, marijuana, a man dying in a daycare parking lot. “He’d planned to rob the victim … and it went bad, and he had to ‘blow him (away),’” detective Patrick Watson said, relaying a conversation Brown allegedly had with a friend. “And he just blew him in the chest.” Police believe that, on Dec. 17, Brown met 21-year-old Curtis Oldham on a residential street off Lilburn’s Killian Hill Road. Oldham, and his accompanying girlfriend, apparently believed he would be selling marijuana to Brown.
What exactly happened remains unclear. But Oldham’s girlfriend told authorities that, at some point, 15-year--old Brown stuck his hand inside her car, dropped a counterfeit $100 bill and fired a single gunshot through the window. The girlfriend drove off, stopping at a nearby daycare to bang on the door and ask for help. Someone there called 911, and police arrived to find Oldham bleeding in the passenger seat of his girlfriend’s car. He later died at Eastside Medical Center. - (Black-on-white)
