Charge Lebanese Immigrant PORTLAND, Ore. -- An immigrant linked by
prosecutors to an Oregon terrorism cell has been charged with possessing a machine
gun, shortly before he was to be deported to his native Lebanon after serving
prison time for other weapons counts. Ali Khalid Steitiye is charged with
carrying a machine gun during a September 2001 trip to a rural Washington gravel
pit, during target practice that was also attended by men who have since pleaded
guilty to conspiring to join the Taliban and fight against the U.S. military.

Men Accused of Hamas Ties to Go on Trial DALLAS -- Attorneys for
five Palestinian-born brothers accused of shipping computers to countries
that help terrorists claim their clients are being targeted because they are Muslims.
Ghassan Elashi was chairman of a Texas-based Muslim charity that gave money
to Palestinians, including, authorities say, the wives and children of suicide
bombers.

24, on second-degree rape and second-degree sex abuse charges. The third suspect,
Bartolo Santos-Elias, was arrested on charges of second-degree rape, first-degree
attempted sexual abuse, second-degree sodomy and second-degree unlawful sexual

Truckers Doubt U.S. Supreme Court Ruling Will Help The U.S.
high court on Monday rejected appeals from union and environment groups who argued
that Mexican trucks pollute and are unsafe, ruling unanimously that the
Bush administration can open U.S. roadways to Mexican trucks as soon as it wishes.
One of
the names on that list was Daniel Romero, an 18-year-old Nacogdoches High
School soccer star and illegal immigrant with two arrests but no felony convictions.
The immigration agents apprehended Romero in the gravel driveway of his family's
home early March 25, just as his mother was about to drive him to school.
Romero
faces an immigration court hearing after which he could be deported to Mexico,

Guard Repatriates 122 Haitian Migrants A total of 2,061 Haitians have
been picked up since January, including those taken to Port-au-Prince Wednesday,
the Coast Guard reported. The numbers have already surpassed those from the past
three years.

two teenage girls, 14 and 16 years
old, after supplying them with alcohol has pleaded not guilty. Chol Deng Chol,
25, is charged with two felony counts of gross sexual imposition, including soliciting
minors, and one misdemeanor count of delivering alcohol to a minor. His preliminary
hearing was Thursday in East Central District Court. Authorities have said he
