Patriot Picnic It is very unprofessional for police chief Zimmerman to allow her and her assistant chiefs to be abused and humiliated in this way. It just encourages more abuse in the future. Then they wonder why the San Diego police force is undermanned by hundreds and is having trouble recruiting more policemen. Chief Zimmerman is a political stooge, just there to promote the liberal agenda of our Mayor and City Council. Absurdly, Zimmerman tweeted her thanks to the violent mob and the people who humiliated her and her chiefs for "keeping things non-violent," though they actually were a lynch mob. Dozens of policemen would not be needed to protect a few picnickers from a group, if they had really been non-violent. If the police had not been protecting us, we would almost certainly have been beaten and seriously injured, if not killed. We five picnickers are extremely grateful to the very professional street cops, who protected us from the mob on that day. |
