But the patrol also has drawn major interest on White supremacist Web sites and in their chat rooms. Mohamed Abdel Wahab Yakoub, an Egyptian who was fired from the Saudi Embassy in 2002, appeared Wednesday in federal court. He is accused of charging up to $5,000 for visas that were created with official embassy letterhead and government stamps.

GREENBELT, Md. -- A Maryland woman was sentenced Monday to more than 17 years in prison for forcing a Cameroonian girl to work as a domestic servant for no pay, beginning when the girl was 11. Theresa Mubang, herself originally from Cameroon, was convicted by a federal jury in November of involuntary servitude and harboring an alien.
18-count indictment in illegal Mexican migrant Miguel Ortiz's rape trial An 18-count indictment filed yesterday accuses an illegal immigrant of the brutal Valentine's Day rape of a Westerleigh woman for whom he had done some household cleaning work. Miguel Ortiz, 25, also is charged with terrorizing the woman with a kitchen knife and threatening to kill her pre-teen daughter, who was not home. Mustafa Mohamed, a 30-year-old immigrant from Somalia, faces the possibility of additional charges in the case. Mohamed was born in Somalia, but that she did not know his immigration status or how long he has lived in the United States.
