Cops said the charred remains of tycoon William West, 76, were close to the couple’s luxury holiday beach home in Gambia. He vanished on July 3 while on a vacation with wife Kate. She claimed he disappeared after popping into a cigar store on a day trip to neighbouring Senegal. Mrs West was originally from Ghana but lived in Gambia with her Nigerian parents. She married Mr West six years ago — when she was 20 — after they met while he was on holiday in Gambia. Schnucks employees shocked after stabbing spree * Supermarket Stabbing Spree Victim Speaks Out  The shocking news of this stabbing spree had spread to all Schnuck's employees by the end of the day. "Very scary," says Porschea Bennett. Both Bennett and her boyfriend work at the Schnuck's on Highway 64. He was inside the store when employee Elartrice Ingram allegedly attacked eight co-workers Friday morning. "I'm glad I wasn't here because I didn't want to get stabbed or anything," says Bennett. Police say Ingram was dropped off at the store around 9:00 am. Minutes later, they say he went on a rampage, armed with two knives. Customer Bill Randolph was at the deli counter at the time. "He immediately ran to one of the girls and stabbed her right down through the shoulder," says Randolph. Co-workers say blood was all over the floor. Black Teen Pleads Guilty in Death of 14-year-old white girl pregnant by 20-year-old black rapist   WICHITA, Kan. -- A teenager pleaded guilty Friday in the killing a pregnant 14-year-old girl, whose body was found partially buried near a wheat field last month. Everett Le Gentry, 17, had waived his right to a hearing in juvenile court and agreed to testify against two other men charged in the case. In court Friday, he told the judge that Elgin "Ray-Ray" Robinson Jr., 20, had asked him to kill Chelsea Brooks because her family wanted to prosecute Robinson for statutory rape. Both Robinson and Theodore Burnett, 49, are charged with capital murder and kidnapping in Chelsea's death, and Robinson is also charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a child under 14 and one of violating a protective order that the girl's mother obtained for her in February. White female victim of black male gang-rape tells her story  DENVER - A sexual assault victim says she hopes that by talking about her ordeal, it will encourage other victims to come forward.
Twenty-six-year-old Sarah Martino was kidnapped and raped in Denver last year.
Friday, one of the two men who raped her will be sentenced. Johnny Fuller, 39, is facing a minimum of 96 years in prison. During his trial Martino chose to testify, hoping he'd be put away for life so he could never hurt another person again. Martino now wants other victims to know they too have a choice to make a difference. It all began on a cold winter day in January 2005, the day Sarah Martino thought her life was over. She was walking home from work at 6:30 a.m. when two men forced her into a van and sexually assaulted her. The two men convicted of kidnapping and raping her are Fuller and 52-year old Melvin Williams. Martino soon learned Fuller had a long criminal record. "After I was found, I was watching the news and they said 52 previous convictions and he had molested a little girl, and I said he's not going do it again," she said.

Black gets free room and board for life for kidnapping, then stomping to death an 11-year-old White boy   Victor Jermaine Gamble, 20, of Cameron, made a court appearance after being charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. Officials said Gamble murdered the boy after breaking into Way's home to commit a robbery, then stole jewelry from the home and pawned it at a local pawn shop. Lee County sheriff's Capt. James Estes said Gamble apparently was surprised by Way, who was home alone. "It appeared that it was a break-in to the residence, and that break-in led to the death of Bradley Way," Estes said. "Why couldn't he just leave him alone? If he wanted to take something, just take it. Why did he have to kill an 11-year-old boy," said Shawn Melby, the boyfriend of Way's mother. "Bradley was like a stepson to me. [I hope] the guys that did this get the justice they deserve." Melby said Gamble worked for Chris Way, Bradley's father. Clifton Lamar Williams faces life in prison or the death penalty for brutal murder of 93-year-old White woman   if convicted of capital murder for allegedly robbing, beating, stabbing and burning to death Cecilia Schneider, 93, on July 9, 2005.
Williams, also known as "Crazy C," was arrested last July after Tyler police discovered fingerprints and blood inside Ms. Schneider's stolen and abandoned vehicle. Ms. Schneider was found beaten and stabbed to death inside her home at 311 Callahan St. in Tyler. The suspect then set fire to the victim and her bedding, according to the arrest warrant. Several witnesses who observed a black male standing in front of, and walking away from, the wrecked car.

White DeKalb Cop Killed by Black Murder Suspect  A man killed during a shootout that left a veteran DeKalb County police officer dead was wanted out of Louisiana on a murder charge, police officials confirmed on Friday.
The slain officer, 33-year-old Dennis Stepnowski, was shot during a foot chase Thursday night at an apartment complex off North Hairston Road in Stone Mountain. He later died at DeKalb Medical Center. His funeral is planned for Monday.
"He was a brilliant officer. Like I say, he's going to be tremendously missed," said Officer Jason Gagnon of the DeKalb Police Department.
The 25-year-old suspect -- Lucas Palmer -- was killed when Stepnowski and his partner returned fire. Palmer was wanted on a first degree murder charge for killing and burning the body of another man this past February in St. Tammany Parish north of New Orleans. One man is in custody in the Louisiana case but police believe Palmer was the trigger man and thought he had fled to the Houston area. - (crime) - (Black-on-white) |

Perrier, 25, received treatment and was released. Twenty-two-year-old Carrier underwent surgery Wednesday afternoon, but is expected to make a full recovery.

Black arrested for murder of white man while trying to steal his car  Investigators say they know who killed a Blue Ash man outside a Hyde Park bar in January. Lonnie Webster, 23, is now charged with shooting Robby Pursley, 28, with an SKS assault rifle in the parking lot of Mulligan's Pub along Madison Road on January 14th. Police now believe the crime was "random" and Webster was trying to steal Pursley's BMW, Webster was arrested June 1st on the day he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend and stole her SUV with two children inside in Walnut Hills. The abduction prompted an Amber Alert and the boys were found safe at his grandmother's house. Authorities planned to use the text message as key evidence in the killing of a pregnant woman and her friend, but it was that evidence that led them to drop the charges. In May, Baltimore police charged Davon David Temple, 17, as an adult on two counts each of first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and handgun violations in the April 23 shooting deaths of Jennifer Lynne Morelock, 25, of New Windsor, (Morelock was due to deliver her baby last week) and Jason David Woycio, 29, of Westminster. "The decision was made that this was a potential legal problem that we could not overcome in the prosecution of this case," Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office spokeswoman Margaret Burns said. Charging documents revealed detectives found a chilling text message that read: "I killed 2 white people around my way 2day & 1 of them was a woman." Prosecutors said the detectives involved were conducting field interviews about gang activity when they spotted Temple. The detectives asked Temple if they could look at his cell phone for a number. Kim McCandless, was driving to the Sunrise Mall with her two daughters, a niece and a nephew, all between 7 months and 4 years old, when the concrete struck her windshield. No one was injured. McCandless said she made eye contact with the attacker before he threw the concrete. "I was in shock," she said. "I didn't understand why. Why me, why my kids, why my car?" Carl Graves threw the concrete at the SUV because the driver was white. Graves and two friends were in the mall and were upset that the arcade and the movie theater were closed. Hearing Held for Teen Accused of Brutal Rape, Murder  A 17-year-old boy was in court today for a preliminary hearing and could get life in prison without parole if convicted on charges of aggravated murder.
Police say 17-year old Robert Cameron Houston raped and murdered Raechale Elton, a counselor at a group home, in February.
A male co-worker testified in court today that he saw Elton agree to give Houston a ride to another facility. The co-worker felt uneasy about it and went to check on Elton. Instead he found her body. He also says he saw Houston running away from the crime scene, his clothing soaked in blood.

Demeche Shaun Lofton, 27, was arrested in the death of Heather K. Littleton, 22, of Nashville.A missing person's case has turned into a homicide investigation. 22-year-old Heather Littleton of Nashville, Arkansas was reported missing by her mother on Saturday after she never came home Friday night. Her car was found later Saturday afternoon in the Cossatot Community College parking lot. Howard County Sheriff's deputies say items from inside her car were stolen. Detectives say tracing the stolen items led them to 27-year-old Demeche Shaun Lofton, also of Nashville. Arkansas State Police detectives say Lofton took them to a wooded area in Nashville, where the found Littleton dead. During this interview, he admitted choking Littleton to death after an altercation in her car turned physical. Sometime later, according to the affidavit, he drove her car to a remote location within the city limits, took her body from the trunk and put it on the ground. From there, he took the car to CCCUA and left it. Lofton offered to take investigators to Littleton’s body. He took them, the affidavit states, to a location off 4th Street, showing them where her partially nude body was. |

Dennis Sloan, 16, pleaded guilty to auto theft and resisting law enforcement causing death in connection with the wreck that killed Lawrence police Officer Craig Herbert. Dennis Sloan, then 15, was driving a stolen van and leading police on a chase on March 5, 2005, when the van broadsided a patrol car driven by Herbert. Herbert, 34, died as a result of the crash. Skull Found in creek ID'd as 5-year-old White girl Emily Rimel - kidnaped, raped and murdered by black   A skull found in a creek earlier this week has been identified as that of a five-year-old columbus-area girl who disappeared a year and a-half ago. Investigators have identified the remains of Emily Rimel through DNA. Emily was last seen at her home early in the morning on December 7th, 2004. Two people fishing found the skull on Tuesday. The Coroner ays there was trauma to the skull. With confirmation that the remains are those of Emily Rimel, the prosecutor's office can move ahead with plans to seek murder charges against the main suspect. Lindsay Bruce, is serving a 10-year sentence after he was convicted of kidnapping Rimel in December 2004. At the time, Bruce was not charged with murder. While Ohio law does not require the presence of a corpse to charge someone in a homicide, doing so without a body does raise the chances that a jury could acquit. O'Brien says this could easily become a death penalty case based on several factors, including Rimel's age. Over the next few weeks, reports will be written state crime lab investigators and the county coroner's office. Dark Demon Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Mitchell later moved to Connecticut and was convicted in January 2003 of illegal sexual contact with another child.
