(White) Victims, (black) suspect identified in stabbing spree at Good Shepherd Medical Center  The names of the other Good Shepherd Medical Center stabbing victims were released today in a press conference at the facility. They are: Karen Bobo, Harris Teel, Teresa Allison and Melissa Simms. Bobo, a hospital employee, was treated and has been released. The other three were visitors to the hospital. Of those, one remains in critical condition, one in good condition and the other was treated and released. Hospital security and Longview police responded to the scene at about 7 a.m. The suspect, Kyron Templeton, was arraigned on a charge of murder and four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was the son of a patient in the facility and was arrested on Sixth Street. Templeton used a knife in the attacks. A motive has not been determined. The woman who was killed was 57-year-old Gail Sandidge, according to the victim's sister.. - (Black-on-white) |

2 black teens arrested in shooting death of 88-year-old White man    Police arrested two Canton teenagers Monday in connection to the shooting death of an 88-year-old man. Japheth Thomas, 19, was arrested. Mikal Johnson, 18, was arrested. Both are charged with aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Davis said detectives are continuing to investigate and further charges may be pending. Eugene H. Render, 88, was shot twice, once in the chest and once in the abdomen, and found in his kitchen The Stark County coroner's office pronounced Render dead at the scene. - (Black-on-white) |

Three Blacks Charged in Hendrix Shooting Death of 76-year-old White Woman    ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - Three people are now charged in the shooting death of 76-year-old Dorothy Hendrix. Hendrix was shot Sunday morning outside of her home. Steven Benard Hagood, 33, Tereba Racquel Geer, 26, and Bradacious Terrell Galloway, 23 are all charged in the murder. Hagood was hospitalized after being shot in the arm during the incident. The coroner said that heavy bleeding as the cause of Hendrix's death. Hendrix was killed outside of her home around 1 a.m. on Saturday. Hendrix often returned home in the early morning hours because of her job. She also was often carrying large sums of money. The Sheriff's office served a search warrant where she worked. The search led to the seizure of 15 illegal gambling machines. Investigators now believe the armed robbery and shooting stemmed from Hendrix's possession of the proceeds from gambling. - (Black-on-white) |

Two Black teens try to rob White Middletown couple MIDDLETOWN, OH - A Middletown veterans club is offering $1000 reward for the apprehension of two teens who attempted to rob a couple Saturday night. On Saturday, November 23, 2013 at approximately 7:30pm, a husband and wife, 70 and 67 years old, were walking to the AM Vets post on Ross Avenue. Video shows them being approached from behind by two black males. Suspect #1 grabbed the male victim from behind, forcefully trying to remove his wallet from his rear pocket. The suspects also demanded the other victim to hand over her purse, which she did not do. During the attempted robbery, the female victim falls. Luckily, the suspects were frightened off and did not get anything from the victims. Suspect #1 is described as a lighter skinned black male around 5'10" to 6'00" tall, very thin, with a "baby" face. Suspect #2 is a darker skinned black male about 6'00" tall. Both of the suspects are possibly in their late teens. - (Black-on-white) |
(Black female) Fort Myers teen arrested after cowardly 'knockout' attacks on White senior citizens   LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Sheriff's Office has arrested a juvenile in connection with two random attacks. Traveshia Blanks, is charged with two counts of battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Deputies responded to a report of a group of people who randomly attacked an unsuspecting victim "I was in shock" said the 72-year-old Fort Myers victim. While he was weeding his garden, someone kicked him from behind, knocking him to the ground. The victim says he saw a teenage girl laughing at him before she walked back to join a larger group of teens. I turned around to see what happened and there was a girl standing there laughing," he said. On Tuesday, a second victim contacted the sheriff's office. Harry Hurvitz, 89, told deputies that someone rang his doorbell, and he looked and saw several well-dressed teens standing outside his door and one of them appeared to be holding a cell phone or camera. When he opened the door, one of the juveniles suddenly and without provocation slapped him in the face The entire group then fled, laughing as they ran off. "There are lots of old ladies here who have guns and revolvers in their possesion and will not open the door unless they are fully armed," he said. (Black boyfriend) Suspect captured in slaying of white mom, 3 (mixed-race) children  PARSONS, KS - The bodies of a mother and her three children were found slain inside their Parsons home Tuesday, and a suspect has been captured after a manhunt for him. David Cornell Bennett Jr., 22, of Cherryvale, KS, was taken into custody Cami Umbarger, 29, and her children were found (dead). The children were 9-year-old-Hollie Betts, 6-year-old Jaxon Betts and 4-year-old Averie Betts. Umbarger's co-workers at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home said they became alarmed when she failed to show up for work on Monday morning. She was a nurse at the facility. After co-workers called police, officers made the grisly discovery. A friend of Umbarger's said that she met Bennett in a bar. A candlelight vigil is planned. On Halloween, a 22-year-old man had been arrested for threatening murder-suicide on Facebook. That man was apparently Bennett. He was taken into custody and underwent a mental evaluation after posting the message. Bennett was found by police at a motel. He was arrested without incident. Funeral services are planned Monday for Umbarger and her three young children. - (Black-on-white) |

Black East Texas man indicted for murder of white woman at Gilmer football game  UPSHUR COUNTY, TX - The Upshur County Grand Jury indicted 32-year-old Jonathan Ray Shepherd on one count of capital murder. 29-year-old Cheyenne Green was killed in September during an 8th grade football game. Green was found by Shepherd's wife as she lay in the parking lot. Shepherd asked his wife to go to the parking lot where she'd find the victim's car running and the three-year-old in the back seat. His wife took the little boy, saw Green lying in blood, and called 911. "That was two adults that knew each other very well... had a child together. A judicial records search revealed that Shepherd had a protective order filed against him in 2002 and 2003 by a woman in Upshur County. Her child was also listed on the order. - (Black-on-white) |

High court upholds sex assault conviction originally charged to 'John Doe' - He murdered a White woman in 1999  SALT LAKE CITY — The state's high court upheld a 2009 conviction stemming from a sexual assault in 1996, finding that the prosecution fell within the statute of limitations. Donald Eugene Younge Jr. appealed his conviction on two counts of aggravated sexual assault, a first-degree felony, and robbery, a second-degree felony, to the Utah Supreme Court. In a ruling handed down Friday, Associate Chief Justice Ronald Nehring found that the charges filed against Younge were valid. Black man convicted in shooting death of white mother of two  CINCINNATI —The man who shot and killed a mother in Northside last year has been found guilty of reckless homicide. Carlos Richardson was found guilty of reckless homicide on Thursday. He was acquitted of a greater charge of murder. Richardson shot and killed Candace DeMoss, 20, at a home on Nov. 18, 2012. Richardson was also found guilty of tampering with evidence and having a weapon under disability. Family members said DeMoss was the mother of a 2- and 4-year-old. DeMoss had been staying with Richardson at the time of the shooting. “He took the life of my niece, she's 20 years old. She still had her whole life ahead of her. It really makes me sick to my stomach,” the victim’s aunt, Amanda Abrams, said. - (Black-on-white) |

Black suspect named in Mecosta murder, rapes   MECOSTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A woman is dead and three others were sexually assaulted during an overnight standoff in Mecosta County. The incident began at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday when police were called to a home on Cramer Drive on reports of a shot fired. Upon arrival, deputies were told that a gunman was inside with hostages. Kathleen Hawley, 58, of Morley was shot and died at the scene. Three women, ages 20-30, were inside, along with two 7-year-old boys, and a 10-month-old girl. The gunman held the hostages overnight, but released two of the women and the children before sunrise. Duncan Eric Willis II came out of the home peacefully at about 7 a.m. and surrendered to police. The hostages reported that they were sexually assaulted during the standoff. Willis is a neighbor from across the street. - (Black-on-white) |

Black woman stabbed White woman to death - stole her car   WIlliamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick says 66 year-old Barbara Beers of Johnston City, Illinois died as a result of stab wounds. 30 year-old Tamera Williams, of Johnston City, was arrested in Tennessee. Vick believes Williams stole Beers' car and was headed to Georgia. Williams is currently being held in the Rutherford County jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle. Additional charges related to the homicide are expected to file against Williams Sunday. - (Black-on-white) |

Black Man charged in White doctor's murder  AUGUSTA, Ga. - A suspect is behind bars in connection to the disappearance and murder of a Kathleen, Georgia doctor. Richmond County investigators identified 22-year old Glenn Vincent Riggs II as being involved in the disappearance of Dr. Charles Mann. According to officials, Dr. Mann was murdered while at Riggs' residence, located on Dublin Drive in Augusta. Dr. Mann's body was later located near Spirit Creek at Willis Foreman Roads. Riggs is being held at the Richmond County Jail for Robbery by Force and Murder. Doctor Charles Mann was reported missing Thursday evening. - (Black-on-white) |

N. Charleston black charged in connection with Michigan murder of White man  NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Officials say a North Charleston man accused of murdering a medical student in Ann Arbor, Michigan has been formally charged, and is facing additional home invasion charges. Police arrested 21-year-old Shaquille Jones earlier this month at his North Charleston apartment. Jones is being charged in Washtenaw County with homicide, two counts of first degree home invasion, and conspiracy to commit home invasion. He is being held without bond. A preliminary hearing will be held December 5. The victim, 25-year-old Paul Dewolf, was found shot in the neck in July. Investigators say a co-worker found Dewolf dead in his fraternity house in the 200 block of N. Ingalls Street. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man guilty of attempted murder of (White) former AL Rep. Love's mother-in-law   MONTGOMERY, AL - A man on trial on multiple charges related to the home invasion and robbery of former State Rep. Jay Love's in-laws in September 2012 has been found guilty. Wilanu Collins was convicted of burglary, three counts of robbery and the attempted murder of Love's mother-in-law. The home invasion happened at the victim's home on Monticello Drive in Montgomery on a Friday morning. Collins will be sentenced on Jan. 22. He faces 20 years to life on each of the five counts. The district attorney will ask for "consecutive life sentences." Another suspect in the case, Elton Walton, pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery and one count of burglary May 8. Black man arrested for shooting (white) man with black girlfriend - Victim's mother says killing was over race  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The mother of a (white) 26-year-old man shot and killed Monday night said her son never judged people by the color of the their skin, but she said the man who killed him did. Police said David Bouthillier (pictured at right) was killed by 20-year-old Troy Sirmons (left) after an altercation. Family members say Sirmons called Bouthillier, who is white, a racial slur before he pulled the trigger. Bouthillier said David and his girlfriend, who is African-American, had been dating for a year, and both lived in an apartment complex on the Westside. Bouthillier and his girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument outside the complex when Sirmons approached them to break it up. Sirmons later returned to the couple's house and shot the 26-year-old when he opened the door. - (Black-on-white) |
Black killed in standoff after shooting mixed-race son of one of his white ex-girfriends then shooting another white ex-girlfriend   GROVE CITY, Ohio - A Columbus police SWAT officer was injured while attempting to apprehend a man suspected of shooting a 9-year-old boy and a woman. The string of shootings began when paramedics and police officers responded to a home on a report of a shooting. A 9-year-old boy opened the door and was shot once at close range. The boy, identified as Jaiden Dixon, was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. However, Dixon's mother posted to her Facebook page that doctors are harvesting his organs for donation. The suspect was identified as 47-year-old Danny Thornton, who is the ex-boyfriend of Dixon's mother. Dixon's mother, who was sitting in the living room when the shooting occurred, and Thornton have a 17-year-old son together. Columbus police officers responded to a second shooting at Pitts Dentistry. Thornton entered the practice, and said "Haven't seen you in a while" and shot a dental hygienist once before turning and walking out of the office. The victim, Vicki Vertin, is believed to be another ex-girlfriend of Thornton. She is listed in critical, but stable condition. Vertin and Thornton had two children together. Later, Thornton exited his vehicle and raised his weapon to the officers. The officers fired at Thornton who was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. An officer, 51-year-old Officer Steve Smith, was also injured during the standoff. Thornton's criminal history dating back to 1985. - (Black-on-white) |
Dahlinger had hired suspect for sex - black pimp and white whore arrested in murder of Grand Rapids fornicater  GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The woman charged in connection to the murder of John Dahlinger is a prostitute and he had previously hired her, police confirmed to 24 Hour News 8 Thursday night. Dahlinger, 56, was found beaten and shot inside his northeast Grand Rapids condo in mid-October. Danyell Thomas, 36, and his girlfriend 24-year-old Dijana Kilic were charged Thursday in connection to the murder. Thomas faces murder charges, while Kilic faces a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery. A probable cause document says the suspects planned to rob Dahlinger, and that Thomas brought the gun. Kilic is a prostitute and Dahlinger hired her for sex, police confirmed. Dahlinger had a second life. And it appears to have caught up with him. Danvers, Mass., black 14-year-old accused of raping — and murdering — White high school teacher Colleen Ritzer A 14-year-old boy last month allegedly raped Danvers High School teacher Colleen Ritzer before murdering her and dumping her body in a nearby wooded area, prosecutors said today. Philip D. Chism was indicted by an Essex County grand jury today on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated rape and armed robbery. Chism allegedly attacked Ritzer when she stayed after school to talk with him about an upcoming exam, according to prosecutors and students who were in the building that day. “The indictments returned today detail horrific and unspeakable acts.” “This is the first step in a long process to secure justice for Ms. Ritzer and her family.” Chism allegedly sexually assaulted the victim with an object. | Black rapist-killer, 14, used tree branch to rape teacher before slitting her throat and leaving a note saying "I hate you all" The 14-year-old student accused of raping, robbing and murdering his high school math teacher used a tree branch to sexually assault her and left a hate note next to her body, it has been revealed. Philip Chism left a folded piece of paper with the words 'I hate you all' next to the corpse of Colleen Ritzer after he slit her throat in a bathroom and left her body in a 'sexually staged' position at Danvers High School in Massachusetts, according to court court papers. Her body was found naked from the waist down with the three foot branch still inside her corpse, which was covered in leaves. Her bra was pulled down and her top pulled up. |
Black Suspect Arrested For Killing Elderly Woman, Brutally Beating Man, 95, During Home Invasion   SAN BERNARDINO — A San Bernardino man was arrested for killing an 84-year-old woman and brutally beating her 95-year-old husband during a home invasion, sheriff’s officials said Thursday. Freddie Weston, 33, was arrested Wednesday and booked at Central Detention Center for murder and residential robbery. Lorna Gable and her husband were attacked in the early morning hours of Jan. 19 after they woke up to find a burglar in their home. Both were transported to local hospitals. Bored (FERAL) black youth "Knockout Game" Player Shot By Concealed Carry Permittee   Townhall reported on the "knockout" game last week, and now one participant is learning that trying to knock random people unconscious with a single punch could have dangerous consequences. Marvell Weaver, a 17 year old from Michigan, attempted to "knock out" a man at a Lansing bus stop. Unbeknownst to Weaver, the man was a legal concealed carry permittee and was carrying a gun at the time. After approaching the man and "shoving something" into his side, Weaver was shot twice and survived. He has been sentenced to a year in jail. Weaver claims that this was his six or seventh attempt at knocking someone out, and says that his arrest is a "lesson learned." He said he usually played the game when he was "bored" and usually under the influence of drugs. He was inspired by seeing knockout game videos on the internet. - (Black-on-white) |
Black, 26, charged for 'stabbing ex-girlfriend and killing her mother after young woman drops restraining order against him'    A 22-year-old single mother whose criminal ex-boyfriend allegedly stabbed her and killed her mom had dropped a restraining order against him just weeks before last night's brazen attack. Gilbert Villanueva, 26, was today charged with fatally stabbing Suzanne DuRocher, 50, and viciously wounding his former flame Kristen DuRocher in their Merchantville, New Jersey home. Villanueva allegedly broke into the women's house on the 100 block of Prospect Street about 10.30pm, and went up to Kristen's bedroom on the second floor. When Suzanne heard the confrontation, she tried to make Villanueva leave and he stabbed her with a pocket-knif. He then stabbed Kristen. Kristen’s young daughter was also in the house but was unharmed. She is not Villanueva's child. Kristen and Villanueva had reportedly once dated, but their one-year relationship was tumultuous. - (Black-on-white) |

Death sentence on hold for black man who raped and murdered 14-yr-old White girl pending trial for another rape  Eddie Ricky Nealy learned that his death sentence for the 1985 rape and killing Fresno teen Jody Lynn Wolfe will wait until after his trial for the alleged rape of a woman in 2001. The 2001 alleged rape victim is known as Martha H. in court papers. She testified at Nealy's death penalty trial that he grabbed her as she left a party near Riverdale in southern Fresno County during the early hours of Sept. 20, 2001. She testified Nealy dragged her to a nearby field and raped her at knifepoint behind a haystack. He also was linked to the murder and sodomy of Mary Charlotte Barnett, 28, whose nude body was found in a field in southwest Fresno on July 20, 1988. Black man sentenced for killing White Navy veteran   LOUISVILLE, Ky. —James Washington will spend 65 years in prison for killing a Navy veteran from Jeffersonville. Washington was formally sentenced Monday. He stabbed Robert Eader multiple times and slit his throat at his Spring Street apartment last year. Police said Washington went to collect cash from Eader for an earlier drug deal and when Eader pulled out extra money, Washington killed him for it. It was an emotional day for the victim's family. "We have some closure, but there's still one more person involved in this and she'll go to trail in March. When she gets what she deserves, maybe we can move on," said Nancy Noe, Eader's sister. Augusta black charged with murder in stabbing death of his white girlfriend   State police charged an Augusta man with murder tonight in connection with the stabbing death of 24-year-old Jillian Jones. Justin G. Pillsbury, 38, was taken into custody as he was being released from MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, where he had been treated for what police described as self-inflicted stab wounds. He was taken to the Kennebec County jail and is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday or Tuesday, according to a press release from Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland. On Wednesday, police were called to 32 Crosby St., where they found Jones dead and Pillsbury injured. Neighbors reported the couple had been fighting, but no one thought it was serious enough to call police. Jones made headlines in 2011 after she was arrested along with her then-boyfriend after her daughter Brooklyn, then 18 months old, swallowed cocaine. - (Black-on-white) |

Prison for reckless black unlicensed driver who killed two on I-77  CLEVELAND, OH - Prison for a reckless, unlicensed driver who caused a double fatal accident on I-77 in April. Antony Ford, 22, was sentenced to eight years behind bars. Ford was recklessly operating his vehicle on I-77 southbound when he swerved his vehicle across three lanes of traffic and onto the shoulder of the highway. As he attempted to swerve back onto the highway, he lost control of his vehicle traveling at 87 miles per hour, striking a box truck. The collision caused both vehicles to lose control and veer across the left lanes of the highway. The box truck crashed through a guard rail into the northbound lanes and became airborne before striking a Honda Civic and rolling over. A multi-car accident then resulted from other drivers swerving to avoid impact with the other two vehicles. The driver of the box truck and the driver of the Honda Civic were pronounced dead at the scene, and numerous other injuries were sustained by drivers and passengers involved in the multi-car accident. White families attacked, beaten, threatened by armed home-invading black man - stole 8-yr-old's Christmas money      BESSEMER CITY, N.C. -- Police are stepping-up patrols in hopes of finding a man who is robbing people at gunpoint. Shad Black had just come home with his fiancé and 8-year-old son, Colby, Sunday night when he heard his back door open. Colby went to look and found himself face to face with an armed gunman. For the next few minutes, the Blacks were terrorized by the man, who wore a mask covering his nose and mouth. He demanded money, and pointed the gun at all four of the people in the house. Donald Black was asleep on the coach and woke up after hearing screams. "He was right beside me; he had that gun and said ‘give me your money,’” said Black. "He kept saying ‘I don't know which one I ought to kill first.’" The gunman pushed Shad to the floor, threatened to kill him and struck him with the gun while kicking him in his ribs and on the face and neck. "He held a gun to an 8-year-old's head, took his Christmas money" "He was talking about killing-- he said he was going to kill one of us. He also told Andrea ‘I know where you work at the Subway.’" Donald recalled. Police think this is the same man who severely beat a man early one morning just a few blocks away. Friday, a man was beaten as he was walking back to his truck after warming it up. Gray Helms told his next door neighbor that a man approached him demanding money. "He told the man he didn't have but $10, and the man said then ‘let's go inside your house,’" said Glaser. "His wife was inside, and he wasn't going to let that guy inside." That's when Helms said that the man, who was wearing a gray hoodie with a medium build and standing around 5-foot-9 to 6- feet-tall, beat him with a black handgun. Old Dominion University says attempted robbery by five blacks on campus was racially motivated - victim was White The victim told campus police that he was walking through the parking lot when he noticed three men get out of a car. One of the men allegedly approached the victim and hit him in the face, initiating a fight. The other two males are accused of pinning the victim to the ground while trying to remove a wallet from his pocket. After a struggle with the victim, the three suspects left in the car without taking anything. He suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment. - (Black-on-white) |

WASHINGTON - Phoebe Connolly says she had no idea what was coming when she biked through a group of teens in Columbia Heights."My whole head went flying to the side," she explains. "It was a hard punch. One kid came from the side and pretty much cut me off. "He just like threw a hook with his left hand, and just got me right in the face," she continues. "And he said 'wa-pow' as he hit me in the face." Phoebe says she was able to pedal away, but was left sore and with a bloody nose. A 27-year-old woman says Thursday night she was on foot when a group of teens, also on bikes, came up. One punched her hard in the back of her head. Police Say Black Ex-Boyfriend Shot, Killed White Winters Woman  WINTERS – Police have identified the man accused of shooting and killing a Winters woman Monday morning while she sat in her SUV. Police say William Carl Gardner III is the woman’s ex-boyfriend. Leslie Pinkston, identified by friends, was sitting in a black BMW SUV when someone fired three shots into the vehicle. “From what we can see, it appears she was sitting in the vehicle,” said an officer. “We don’t know if the suspect…was he inside the vehicle or outside the vehicle.” Loved ones shed tears, hugs and memories of Leslie Pinkston, a slain mother who leaves behind a little girl. Black 17-Year-Old Arrested, Charged In Reynoldsburg Homicide of White Woman  REYNOLDSBURG -- Police have charged a 17-year-old boy with the murder of a young woman whose body was found behind a school. Adrien McGee confessed to killing 18-year-old Danielle Michaels, who was found dead near a ball field behind Reynoldsburg's Summit Campus High School on Monday night. McGee allegedly admitted to police that he threw a knife at Michaels, puncturing the young woman's neck. The teen also confessed to slicing the victim's arm. McGee's father, Jimmy, said his son threw the 13 inch knife at a tree after smoking marijuana with Michaels at Pine Quarry Park, but the blade somehow struck the woman. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Prosecutors have released a recorded confession of a St. Johns County woman convicted of stabbing to death a Fruit Cove man she met on Craigslist in his home in 2011. A jury convicted 26-year-old Latoya Jordan on Friday in the murder of 53-year-old Daniel Somerson in July 2011. After Jordan killed him, she lived in his home for weeks while his body decayed until she could find another place to live. Following her conviction, she was immediately sentenced to life in prison. Police: Black Driver Intentionally Ran Over White Victims In Store Parking Lot   COLUMBUS, Ohio - A driver is now charged with murder after police say he intentionally struck two people with a car on the west side of Columbus on Friday night. It happened around 5 p.m. in a strip mall parking lot on Soldano Blvd. "I just got a call from my daughter. She was frantic and I came straight here," says Chrissy Wagner. Officers say her daughter was driving through the parking lot in this silver car when the victims confronted her about speeding. Wagner says they threatened her daughter with a gun. Police say a second silver car came barreling through, driven by 24-year-old Montez Hollins. Wagner says Hollins is her son-in-law and was coming to her daughter's defense. Police say Hollins circled the parking lot, crashing into a Firebird, wrecking another car, then hitting the victims. Officers say the crash killed Jason Barry, 35. Kristina Petree, 34, was transported to Mt. Carmel West with life-threatening injuries. Hollins is in police custody charged with murder. - (Black-on-white) |

White woman helped 2 blacks attack dad in home invasion Florida - About a month after a 68-year-old man was severely beaten in a home invasion near Windermere, his estranged daughter has been arrested on attempted second-degree murder charges for the attack. Mary Ellen Christensen, 29 is accused of bringing (black) friends to burglarize her father's home and helping the suspects escape after tying up family members and stealing their valuables. It happened at Wayne Smalley's home on Oct. 23, and started when a strange man knocked on the front door asking to use the phone, said a deputy's report. Two men forced their way in, then attacked and bound Smalley, Madeline Smalley, and Michelle Stone with duct tape.
One victim was grabbed by the throat, another was dragged back into the house, but the father may have suffered the most severe injuries. Smalley is a disabled combat veteran and the attack broke a rib and punctured a lung. Since then, he's been in and out of the hospital with an unknown prognosis for recovery. Christensen's alleged involvement surfaced when her mother, Grace Smalley, saw composite sketches of the two invaders in news reports. Deputies say she immediately recognized one of the men as a friend of her daughter's. After her mother came forward, Christensen was interviewed by deputies. She confessed to driving Michael Tyrone Ford Jr. and Rezlin Antwan Thomas to her father's home. She also admitted that she picked the men up after they wrecked the stolen Ford Explorer, helping them escape capture from Orange County Sheriff's Office K-9 units. In addition to attempted murder, Christensen, Ford and Thomas all face charges of home invasion robbery, grand theft and false imprisonment. Christensen and Ford were arrested Thursday. Black man denied bond in Greenwood motel double homicide of White women  GREENWOOD, SC - Police have confirmed that a man is charged in connection with the double homicide at a motel in Greenwood on Wednesday. Terrance Lamont Thomas was taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Thomas told someone that he had committed the crime and "gave details about the incident that only the perpetrator would have known." Investigators found the women dead at the Extended Stay Motel after an employee called 911. "I'm hoping that people don't look at this as, you know, as not to come here because this really is a safe motel. One of the women found dead checked into the room next door to the crime scene on Friday and had plans to check out on Nov. 16. Coroner Sonny Cox identified them as 33-year-old Elizabeth Bourne, of Greenwood, and 38-year-old Danielle Graham, of Ware Shoals. Cox said both victims died of a single gunshot wound and the incident is being investigated as a double homicide. Witnesses said Thomas admitted to shooting Bourne and then shooting Graham as she was trying to get out of the room. - (Black-on-white) |
Black man sought in connection to his white wife's death turns self in  COLUMBUS, Ohio - A woman’s husband turned himself in a day after his wife was found dead in abandoned home. Guido Henry, the husband of Amber Henry, turned himself into police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Henry is in Franklin County Jail on a felony charge of abuse of a corpse.Thee couple has two children - a 4 year old who now lives with his grandmother and a 12 year old who lives with her aunts. A friend says the couple fought all the time. “He supposedly loved her why would he do something like that? If you love something that long you wouldn't dump them in an abandoned house you'd get them help, she said. A neighbor who called 911 said she saw a man pulling a large tub down the alley with a woman inside. When her boyfriend called out to the man he told the man she's drunk. Officers later found the woman’s body at the bottom of the stairs. Detectives believe she was thrown down. Police are calling Henry’s death suspicious until her autopsy is complete which is expected tomorrow. - (Black-on-white) |

Two families fighting to have judges drug tested  Two families are fighting to make sure no one has to live through the pain they suffered during trials for their murdered children. 300 times the Christians and the Newsoms walked inside the City County Building and they were there once again on Thursday. "This is almost like a second home now we've been here so many times," said Mary Newsom. They came this time with a different purpose. "I don't want anyone else to go through what we went through," said Mary. Sitting through re-trails for the murderers that took their daughter and son. All because the judge overseeing the case was a pill addict. That's why they're meeting with elected officials, drafting a bill intended to wipe the benches clean of illegal drug activity. "Somebody that is controlling something as important as our justice system- you would think they would have to get a drug screening," said Gary Christian. Devastated family grieves after White Fayetteville woman's remains found - her (stolen) car crashed by black man  Fayetteville, N.C. — Police said Friday that human remains found off railroad tracks south of downtown Fayetteville are those of a Fayetteville woman who has been missing for two months. Marcella Anne Thompson, 39, was last seen leaving her home on Sept. 23 to run errands. Her car was found on Oct. 1 when a man crashed it while fleeing police. A man walking along a rail line that parallels Winslow Street spotted the remains about 5 feet off the tracks near the Southern Avenue intersection. Terrin Thompson, Marcella's husband of 12 years, said Friday he does not know how he will go on without her. Thompson said he met his wife around Valentine's day back in 1998. They were married three years later and now have a 2-year-old daughter, Ally. The man accused of driving Marcella Thompson's car, Pierre Rouchant Lowe, 38, crashed it and ran from the scene. He was charged with hit-and-run, flee and elude arrest with a motor vehicle, resisting and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lowe not been named a suspect in Thompson's death. Thompson's remains were sent to a medical examiner for an autopsy, and police haven't released a cause of death. - (Black-on-white) |

According to Columbus police, Ryan Wilson was found severely beaten on McAllister Avenue on November 6 at about 8:53 p.m. Wilson was transported to the hospital where he died on November 9. Officers arrested 41-year-old Lamont P. Evans, Sr. in connection with the homicide. The homicide remains under investigation. Black arrested for shooting death of White locksmith in early October after payment disagreement   TULSA - The suspect in an October homicide was arrested Thursday morning. Police say 22-year-old Dewayne Fulson shot a locksmith in early October over a disagreement about payment. Twenty-one-year-old Sebastian Geiger, who responded Oct. 2 to an apartment complex near 49th and Sheridan to unlock a car door, was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later. 3rd (black) suspect in murder of White man was on bond in break-in case  The third suspect in the homicide of University of Michigan medical student Paul DeWolf was out of jail on bond at the time of DeWolf’s death after being charged in a May home invasion Dajeon Lavelle Franklin, 21, was arraigned on May 16 for an Ann Arbor home invasion allegedly committed on May 4. While in court on a bond violation, Washtenaw County Assistant Prosecutor Dianna Collins indicated he is a suspect in a homicide in Ann Arbor. DeWolf was found dead in his apartment in the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity. Franklin was the final suspect to be named in connection with DeWolf’s death. 5 Years After (White) Student's Murder Over iPod, Arrest Warrant For Black Suspect Coming: Sources   Five years after 23-year-old grad student Beau Zabel was shot to death leaving a Starbucks in South Philadelphia, police are prepared to issue an arrest warrant for the man they say pulled the trigger. That man, Marcellus Jones, 35, is already serving time for another murder. Zabel, who was from Minnesota, was a grad student at Drexel University. In the summer of 2008, he was also working at the Starbucks on 4th and South Street. As he was walking from work to his home in the Italian Market neighborhood, Zabel was shot to death. Police say the robber wanted Zabel's iPod. After the murder, police released surveillance video showing a man in a white t-shirt leaving the murder scene, but that was the only lead they had. Until 20-year-old Tyreek Taylor was killed. The investigation into Taylor's murder led police to Marcellus Jones. Police theorized that Jones told Taylor about Zabel's murder, and later shot Taylor to death to keep him from talking to police. - (Black-on-white) |

Black Suspect in Dogwood Park murder of White man transferred to Berkeley Co.  Authorities say a suspect who was captured in California last month in connection with the murder of a convenience store worker in a Goose Creek park has been successfully transferred back to Berkeley County. Stephon Johnson was booked at the Berkeley County Detention Center Thursday at 10:57 p.m. He has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and grand larceny. Johnson was captured by U.S. Marshals in Lancaster, California on October 23. Police say he was wanted in connection with the murder of 40-year-old William Kuhn, whose body was found by children near a playground in Dogwood Park on September 18. Caught on tape: Abuse and neglect of the disabled at state-run facilities - (by black state employee)  HOUSTON – Like all mothers, all Mary Collins wanted to do was to protect her son, Timmy. “It still hurts, it still hurts,” Collins said. “How can somebody take advantage and hurt somebody that is that innocent.” Timmy, 33, is autistic and functions like a 5-year-old. Requiring round-the clock-care, Collins placed him at the State of Texas Supported Living Center in Brenham. And that’s where something very cruel took place, while Timmy was acting up one day on a bathroom floor. “It’s appalling,” Collins said. “The staff member took the bathroom door and slammed the door on Timmy’s head." It left a bloody, inch-long gash to his right ear. “It shouldn’t happen, there’s no reason this should happen,” Collins said. But it happens despite that the fact that the state began installing hundreds of security cameras in 2009. One piece of video, which was used as evidence in a Washington County criminal trial, shows state employee Ronald Crow punch a resident with a closed fist without provocation. Worse yet, after spotting the so-called eye in the sky, Crow gives the resident a hug as if nothing ever happened. - (Black-on-white) |

ST. LOUIS – A 17-year-old (N-word) faces a third degree assault charge after a possible “knockout game” attack in the Central West End Friday night. Edward Townsend allegedly struck a 30-year-old man in the head around 10 p.m. “Right when he was getting ready to pass me, he punched me in my left temple,” the victim, who wished to remain unidentified, said. Townsend was reportedly walking with a group of teens when he hit the victim. “They were just pushing me down on the ground and then I started yelling for help and then they ran in a bunch of different directions,” the victim said. Police believe Townsend was playing the “knockout game” where the goal is to knock the victim unconscious. 
Investigators out of Gaston County are trying to find out if they caught the man who they said terrorized families for more than a week. Donnavan Huskey will face a judge Wednesday on burglary charges. 
Donnovan Jerome Huskey Jr., 20, of Heather Court, Bessemer City, was arrested Tuesday morning. He faces charges in a home invasion Monday night on 10th Street in Bessemer City. Police also accused 18-year-old Martavious Adams, of 1205 Mountain Ave., Gastonia, in the home invasion. He was arrested Wednesday afternoon. 
The AP said the public portions of the file said Judge Baumgartner was an abuser of oxycodone, hydrocodone and generic Xanax and Valium and had sex in chambers with one of his suppliers, a woman named Deena Castleman who is not even half his age and has a history of arrests. 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A North Las Vegas man is under arrest on charges connected to the crash that left a 17-year-old mom dead. Officers arrested Leonard Novell Ward II on six felony charges in connection with the crash Halloween night. The charges include reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm, one count of DUI causing death and two counts of DUI causing substantial bodily harm. Police say he was traveling more than 77 mph in a 45 mph zone when the crash happened and he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
