Hmong Man Found Guilty in Hunter Deaths  Wis. -- A jury on Friday convicted an immigrant truck driver of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of six deer hunters during a confrontation over trespassing, rejecting his claims that he fired in self-defense. Charge Hmong Hmonster With Hate Crime! - By Dave Gibson Chai Vang, the Hmong immigrant who murdered six Wisconsin hunters last November has been found guilty on six counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. However, this verdict is not enough. All of his victims were white and his vicious behavior went much farther than simple murder.... There has been a growing problem with Hmong hunters trespassing on private lands in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Hmong regularly hunt game out of season, none have licenses, and many reportedly use AK-47 assault weapons... Make no mistake, had a white man been chasing down a group of unarmed Asians, picking them off one by one--the news coverage would trump that of the Natalee Holloway case. The FBI would also consider the massacre to be a 'hate crime.' However, it is never considered to be hateful nor racist when the murder victims are white. |
| White man shot in possible bias attack ("hate crime") A 23-year-old Brooklyn man was shot outside a Sheepshead Bay restaurant Tuesday night in an attack that his family believes was racially motivated. Michael Sena, who is white, was with friends at the TGI Friday's on Emmons Ave. about 10 p.m. when he was attacked by a group of black men who had yelled racial taunts, his family said. Police investigators said they have not determined whether the shooting was a bias attack or a robbery because they haven't been able to extensively interview Sena. He underwent more than four hours of surgery for a hemorrhaging spleen and kidney. The victim's cousin Allyson Albergo said tensions had been simmering among the racially diverse crowd. | Beaten White man reports racial attack, theft by two Blacks A Williamsville man told Buffalo police that two black men uttered racial slurs early Friday before assaulting and robbing him on Kirkpatrick Street. Richard Beagle, 44, said he had just bought a beer for one of the men before the second approached at about 1 a.m. and both began taunting him. They punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and stole his wallet and $120 before fleeing. Beagle, who is white, told officers the assailants were black. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of cuts to the head and face and a possible broken nose and teeth. - (reader link) - (black-on-white) |

| Orthodox Jew beaten by two black men in racial attack An orthodox Jewish man was beaten by two black men in Crown Heights as they spewed hate-filled words at him, police said yesterday. The 50-year-old victim was walking home when the men sneaked up behind him, hit him and knocked off his glasses, cops said. They punched him repeatedly in the face and demanded to know what he was doing in his own neighborhood, the victim and cops said. "What are you doing over here, you f-----g Jew!" he said the men screamed at him. |

Freed racist black murderer of white woman files for bankruptcy BATON ROUGE, La. -- Freed prison "journalist" Wilbert Rideau has filed for bankruptcy, saying he can't pay the more than $126,000 in court costs from a trial that resulted in his release after 44 years behind bars. Rideau, 63, won freedom from a life prison sentence in January when a jury _ the fourth to hear his murder case _ found him guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter in the 1961 death of a bank teller during a robbery. "We suspected that Mr. Rideau was going to try to take advantage of his notoriety, and I think it's a crying shame that he's trying to profit on his criminal act." | Hate crime statutes were enacted in New York, as elsewhere, to privilege certain groups (blacks, Hispanics, gays), and correspondingly to disenfranchise white, heterosexual males. Crimes are labeled hate crimes based not on the act but on who commits it. When blacks or Hispanics target whites or Asians, they are almost never charged with hate crimes (and then only after great political pressure is exerted on criminal justice officials), whereas whites are routinely treated as racist criminals and locked up for interracial crimes in which blacks or Hispanics are the victims (and increasingly for crimes in which the whites were the victims). The intent and application of hate crimes legislation both violate the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause. 4. The state may not criminalize one’s thoughts, as opposed to one’s actions. |

Sports: Black racist basketballers accused of hate crime assault on White man in Toronto     TORONTO -- An assault trial for three NBA players has heard that three men hurled racial slurs from a taxi before getting out and pummelling a man. Adrian Cimpean testified he was picking up his fiancee from work outside a strip club when three men in a taxi began calling him a "nigger." He says they told him they would teach him a lesson. Cimpean is white, while the three accused -- all NBA players -- are black. Phillip Grant, 43, appeared at a court hearing Tuesday in shackles and a bulletproof vest. In a 45-minute videotape played during the hearing, Grant told police, "All I knew was she had blond hair and blue eyes and she had to die."Grant, who is black, claimed Connie Russo-Carriero "was not an innocent victim — because she was white."

| New York: Black rapist told police he had planned to kill a white woman The District Attorney's Office would seek a grand jury indictment charging , 43, with second-degree murder as a hate crime. Phillip Grant is black; the victim was white. A hate-crime conviction would increase his minimum sentence. Grant, registered as a Level 3 — or high-risk — sex offender who served 23 years in Sing Sing prison on rape and assault convictions, was picked up a few minutes after police found Concetta Russo Carriero unconscious and bleeding from two stab wounds. She died less than an hour later. Abdulla Abraham, an airport shelter resident who knows Grant, said the suspect often had talked about finding a white woman to take care of him. "He was always talking about getting a white girl to live with. He got tired of living at the shelter," Abraham said. "He was obsessed with that for a while, getting a white woman who had money that he could settle down with. He was determined to find one." |

Samson Y. Berhe, who turns 18 on Thursday, was ordered detained in juvenile court. He was arrested Monday after he was found on a barge across the Duwamish River from the shooting scene. Michael Robb, a tennis coach at Newport High School, was shot in the face Sunday night as he sat in his car on West Marginal Way in Seattle. Witnesses said a male approached the car and fired a shotgun through the open driver's side window, then ran toward the river. Neighbors told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the teen said he had a grudge against white people. "He always say that he (was) gonna kill all the white people in the world," said Anna Bell Perkins. "Samson had, like, some sort of complex against Caucasian people. And he said he wanted to kill them all and told me I could watch," said another neighbor. According to court documents, Behre owned a shotgun. Police cut down a tree from his yard and recovered a bullet of the same caliber used to kill Robb.
