(Cowardly criminal black) Handyman charged with killing 71-year-old (White) woman in 2013 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A man previously charged with pawning jewelry stolen from a murdered 71-year-old woman has now been charged with her killing, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Thursday. Marvin Jones, 50, is charged with murder, burglary, dealing in stolen property and grand theft, Lt. Steve Gallaher said. He said it appears that Marilyn Alu was killed when Jones attempted to steal her jewelry. She was found strangled in her East Arlington home on Swimming Salmon Place North on Sept. 8, 2013. Gallaher said evidence shows that Alu's killer entered her home through an unlocked sliding glass door in the back of the home. Alu had hired a company Jones worked for to do some home improvements around her house, but Jones offered to do the jobs cheaper on the side, Gallaher said. He said detectives quickly focused their efforts on Jones in the murder and learned that he had a girlfriend named Constance Messina, who pawned jewelry belonging to Alu on Sept. 9, 2013. Jones also pawned Alu's jewelry that day, detectives said. The couple left Jacksonville for Clewiston, Florida, soon afterward, and when detectives searched a room in which the couple had stayed in Clewiston, they found some of Alu's jewelry in a bag, Gallaher said. - (Black-on-white) |

Off-duty (White) Army captain beaten senseless by 6 (black) men outside Kansas City restaurant Kansas City, MO – An active member of the U.S. Army was viciously beaten by a pack of six young men outside a Country Club Plaza area restaurant, and Kansas City police haven’t made any arrests. The investigation was hampered because the dining establishment, Zocaola Mexican restaurant, didn’t have any working security cameras, according to Kansas City police. The 37-year-old Army caption suffered a significant loss of blood after he suffered numerous broken bones in his face, possible optic nerve damage to one of his eyes and a skull fracture. The man’s injuries were serious, according to a Kansas City police report. The man was off duty and not in uniform when he was beaten. He was hospitalized for more than a week, but by Monday was back at Fort Leavenworth where he is getting additional treatment.... The injured man accidentally bumped into another man inside the restaurant. The man bumped tried to start a fight, and restaurant management kicked him out. About 12:10 a.m. Sept. 19, the soldier walked out of the restaurant and the man he bumped and a gang of his buddies were waiting for him because they were “looking for a fight.” A witness said the suspect sucker punched the soldier. The gang then began to punch and kick the prone man. Friends of the soldier heard the fight and tried to rush to his aid. Two of them were kicked and punched, which required paramedics to treat them at the scene. A fellow Army captain who rushed to help his friend was punched in the face with a closed fist. A second man suffered a bloody nose and mouth. As police were called, the hoodlums jumped in a white vehicle and raced from the scene. One of the men possibly with the primary aggressor had an open tab at the bar and had left his debit card behind. Police have that person’s name, but that still hasn’t led to any arrests. Police are trying to determine if the man actually knew the suspects. “It should be noted that all the involved parties were heavily intoxicated.” The brutal attack has stirred outrage on social media in part because the victim and his friends are white while the attackers were young black men in their mid to late 20s. The police report did not provide any additional details on the soldier and his friends. - (Black-on-white) |

Bre Lasley, 28, was terrified when 48-year-old Robert Berger came into her room on Wednesday just before midnight. 'He whispered and said I'm going to kill you,' she said. Bre said that he threw her to the ground and knelt on her arms while telling her that he was going to kill her and get her sister. After being stabbed multiple times, Berger allegedly had the knife to Bre's throat when an unknown man come down the stairs. Though Bre thought that the stranger could be Berger's accomplice, she realized it was a Salt Lake police officer. The policeman was responding to a family called 9-1-1 when Berger broke into the room of a two-year-old child in another nearby home. Mark Widlund, the mother's boyfriend, has attempted to fend off the intruder with a hammer before his girlfriend 'jousted him out the window' with a lamp. Widlund said he later heard a gunshot after screams of a woman down the street. 'He was our angel,' Bre Lasley said of the officer. He is only seeking custody to look good for the press." "I’ve paid for and handled everything on my own without ANY support from him. I have no connection with him nor do I seek any connection to him." Sources close to Kyrie tell us he doesn't want a war -- and hopes to work out an amicable solution so he can focus on being a parent. The kid is due in early December -- hopefully, they can figure out a way to coexist before it's too late. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man charged in hammer attack (on white protester trying to stop looting) during Berkeley BLM protests A man has been charged with two felonies related to an attack with a hammer on a demonstrator taking part in a Black Lives Matter protest in downtown Berkeley in December. Berkeley police arrested Jayne Waller, 20, in late August on an unrelated offense after an officer recognized him from a previously circulated physical denoscription that included a street name. Waller was released after that violation, but was re-arrested Monday in the 2100 block of Shattuck Avenue in connection with the hammer attack. Waller was charged Tuesday by the Alameda County district attorney’s office on two counts relating to the attack — assault with a deadly weapon and battery with serious bodily injury — and one count of second-degree commercial burglary relating to a break-in and theft at the RadioShack store on Shattuck Avenue and Dwight Way. Berkeleyside caught the attack on video. It happened around 8 p.m. Dec. 7, one of several nights that month when Berkeley and Oakland were consumed with Black Lives Matter protests that included property damage and were at times violent. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Bedford man accused of strangling (White) Cleveland woman to death appears in court CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The 45-year-old Bedford man charged in one killing and under investigation for the slaying of two other people made his initial court appearance Wednesday. Robert Rembert Jr. held his head high as Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Charles S. Patton ordered him held on $1 million bond on an aggravated murder charge. Cleveland police accused him of strangling 31-year-old Kimberly Hall to death and dumping her bruised body in the middle of East 83rd Street near Kinsman Road on June 10. Investigators also consider Rembert a "person of interest" in the Saturday slaying of his cousin, Jerry Rembert, and longtime family friend Morgan Nietzel. They were found dead inside Jerry Rembert's East 140th Street home, police said. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant Friday charging Rembert in Hall's death. The next morning, family members found Jerry , 52, and Nietzel, 26, shot dead. Nietzel's red Saturn Vue was also missing. Rembert served six years in prison after a 1998 conviction of voluntary manslaughter charges. (White) Long Island teacher claims she got blame for (black) student’s sexual assault threat, claims backlash was racially motivated A Long Island high school teacher who was threatened with sexual assault by a student claims in a new lawsuit that she was retaliated against by school officials in Hempstead for reporting the vile threat to authorities. Lynne Albuquerque, a science teacher, alleged the backlash was racially motivated because she is white. The student and the school officials are black. The student, identified in the suit only by his initials “N.L.,” allegedly threatened Albuquerque in the classroom on May 9, 2014. “When I get done ramming you, I’m gonna bag your daughter, then ram the bitch through the whole gang,” N.L. said, according to the suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court. Albuquerque notified the school district, the police and the Nassau County district attorney’s office. The student was suspended for three days, but the penalty was later reversed. Albuquerque was accused by a school administrator of instigating the incident. The teacher was slapped with disciplinary charges by Assistant Superintendent Rodney Gilmore relating to a workers’ compensation claim she filed for emotional trauma. Gilmore did not return a call seeking comment. “Certainly to bring her up on charges after everything that happened is reprehensible,” Morelli said Tuesday. Albuquerque is the third white employee of the Hempstead Union Free School District to file a federal suit alleging racial discrimination by district officials, Morelli said. “It seems to me there is a serious problem in the district when white teachers and administrators are subjected to unfair treatment,” Morelli said. Albuquerque is described in the suit as a dedicated and effective teacher. - (Black-on-white) |

Black homeless man slit the throat of a White homeless man LAS VEGAS – A Las Vegas woman says she held her dying friend after he was attacked Monday afternoon in a homeless camp. The stabbing occurred just before 2:10 p.m. near Owens Avenue and Sandhill Road. The victim was taken to UMC, where he died. Metro Homicide Lt. Dan McGrath says a piece of glass was used to stab the victim, a white man in his 50s, in the neck. Police say the suspect is a black man in his 40s with a medium build. He is 5-foot-9, 180 pounds and has facial hair. Detectives believe the suspect is also homeless. The victim's former girlfriend, Patricia Quale, says she was visiting him at his camp when he got into an argument with another man about stealing money. She says they started throwing things at each other, and then they went out of her view. The next thing she knew, he was badly hurt. “He came crawling up to where I was sitting and said, ‘Help me,’ and I saw the wound from his neck gushing out blood,” she said. “So I grabbed the first thing I could find, which was a jacket, and was holding it to his neck.” Quale says her friend had been living in a homeless camp underneath the Owens Avenue bridge in the Las Vegas Wash flood channel for about three months. She says he’s been in and out of homelessness, struggling to find construction work. She says she can’t forget his last words asking for help. “I was thinking I should have done more to help. Officials: (Black) Man Robbed, Carjacked (Two White) Grandmothers At Detroit Casino Over His Gambling Debt DETROIT – A 49-year-old Redford man accused of victimizing two Macomb County women at a Detroit casino has been arraigned on armed robbery and carjacking charges. Investigators say Wayne Jones had a gambling problem and was trying to get money to pay off a debt when he allegedly targeted the women last Thursday at the Motor City Casino. In what was described as a crime of opportunity, authorities say Jones followed a 68-year-old Sterling Heights woman and a 78-year-old Clinton Township woman out of the casino around 5:30 a.m. and onto the roof of the parking garage. As the women entered their PT Cruiser, Jones allegedly got into the car with them and pulled out a hand gun. He demanded money, took their purses and forced the younger woman to drive. Once they reached a field on the west side, near Schoolcraft and Appoline Street, Jones ordered the women out of the car and drove away, police said. The women then walked about two miles before a Good Samaritan helped them to a police precinct. Neither woman was injured. According to reports, Jones later returned to the casino parking garage to exchange the stolen vehicle for his own. - (Black-on-white) |

London: (less than worthless black) sentenced to life for 'senseless' murder of (White) Alan Cartwright A man has been sentenced to life for murdering a 15-year-old cyclist during an attempt to steal his bike. Joshua Williams, 18, was part of a group which attacked Alan Cartwright as he rode along Caledonian Road, Islington, in February. In sentencing at the Old Bailey, Judge Rebecca Poulet QC described the crime as "gratuitous and senseless" and "motivated by acquisitive greed". Williams was told he would serve a minimum of 21 years. He had denied murder, but was found to have lashed out at Alan, delivering a single stab wound. He had claimed to be at a youth club at the time of the attack, but jurors rejected his explanation. Judge Poulet said the killing "rightly horrified and dismayed the public" and acknowledged a statement from Alan's mother, Michelle Watson, in which she had laid bare the "heartbreak" felt by the whole family. Shaquille Roberts, 18, and a 16-year-old - who cannot be identified because of their age - have already pleaded guilty to the bicycle robbery but have yet to be sentenced. - (Black-on-white) - (UK) |
(Black) Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run (only sentenced to) Probation (for murdering a White man) A man accused in a deadly hit-and-run crash has been sentenced to two years probation for misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide. Mark Fleming was sentenced after earlier No Contest. Police say he hit Roy Yeck last January 30th near North 30th Street and Newport Avenue, then left the scene and went directly to a body shop to look into fixing the damage to his vehicle. Yeck later died of his injuries. Fleming eventually turned himself in and later took a plea deal, reducing the charge to misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, which carries a maximum sentence of one year in prison. The judge reviewed Mark Fleming's record and said Fleming has been convicted 14 times for driving under suspension. Judge Shelley Stratman said she thinks Fleming's remorse is sincere and ordered probation. He has been ordered not to drive until his driver's license is reinstated. In addition Fleming has also been sentenced to jail on the anniversary of Yeck's death, January 29th, for the next two years. Marsha Behr, the victim’s daughter, said, "The charge was lessened down to a misdemeanor. So he is not being charged with leaving the scene, driving with a suspended license, so it seems it is really being dumbed down from what actually happened." - (Black-on-white) |

(Heartless black female) 'caregiver' gets 20 years for murder of White man - beaten, starved, locked in dark room ST. LOUIS • A St. Louis woman who beat her elderly and disabled housemate to death in 2012 was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison. Prosecutors said that Darlene Coulibaly, now 52, preyed on a man who had declined, physically and mentally, after his wife's death. At the time of his death, Howard E. Spracher, 67, was malnourished and had numerous healed and newly-broken bones throughout his body, as well as multiple bruises and cuts, Assistant Circuit Attorney Cynthia Copeland wrote in a court filing. Although the home that the pair shared in the 3800 block of Labadie Avenue was "clean and well-furnished," Spracher's room had only a mattress on the floor and a bucket for a toilet, Copeland wrote. The door to the room had a lock on the outside and the windows were covered in dark plastic. Spracher was visually impaired. Police were alerted after Coulibaly called 911 to report Spracher's death. Police said that Coulibaly admitted punching Spracher and striking him with “hard objects.” - (Black-on-white) |

Man spots estranged stepfather, suspect in 1999 slaying, calls police The last time Willie Britton saw his stepfather Jerome Lawrence, the year was 1999, and Lawrence was being arrested on a domestic battery charge for beating Britton's mother. Within a month of that arrest, police were interviewing Britton and his mother about Lawrence in connection with a far more gruesome crime — the slaying and home invasion of Far Northwest Side resident Marjorie Collette. Lawrence escaped from an Arkansas jail before he could be charged and managed to elude authorities despite multiple arrests in Florida. Sixteen years later, Britton, now 32, who has had nightmares about seeing his stepfather again, relived one of his worst fears as he walked past Lawrence on Friday. When Lawrence walked into the Cook County Circuit Court courtroom, he stared into the sparsely occupied gallery, where Collette's niece, Judy Beavis, was seated. Lawrence and another man had been doing remodeling work on Collette's house in the Edison Park neighborhood in the days before the 65-year-old was found dead in her bed by another niece May 21, 1999. The suspect is accused of smothering Collette with her pillow, slitting her dog's throat for barking and making off with a bag full of her electronics and a safe. - (Black-on-white) |
