(Black) Suspect identified in arson fire that killed 2 (White) children     UPDATE: Suspect in Floral Ave Arson is Dwight D. Burton, 38, of Johnson City. He's charged with 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Arson. JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. -- A community is grieving after two children died in a house fire early Monday morning. Johnson City Firefighters were called to 145 Floral Avenue at 1:58 a.m. where a fire had engulfed a multi-family home. Two children were trapped on the third floor and were taken to UHS Wilson Hospital where they later died. "It took them a while cause they had to put the fire out to get to the third floor, so it delayed their time to get up there," Johnson City Fire Chief Rob Jacyna said. The children's parents were able to escape the fire, but not without suffering severe burns. They were transported to a burn unit in Syracuse. (Black) Man Arrested in Hot Springs Murder (of White man)  HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - A 22-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the October 8 Hot Springs murder of Steven P. Moore. Malcom J. Easley was booked into the Garland County Detention Center. He faces a charge of second-degree murder, police said. Moore was found shot dead near Lincoln Avenue and Garland Avenue early in the morning on October 8. Neighbors in the area said they heard gunshots. - (Black-on-white) |

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Amber Alert in the case. Original story: The Knoxville Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl abducted at gunpoint. Harlea Hunter Webster is a white female standing 5 feet, 4 inches and weighing 100 pounds, with blue eyes and dyed black hair, the alert states. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray jacket, gray sweat pants and a dark gray beanie cap. The suspect is described as a 35-year-old black man standing around 6 feet tall and weighing around 220 to 230 pounds. 2 (White) EMS workers 'came within inches of dying' after box cutter attack (by black) in Detroit   DETROIT - Two Detroit EMS workers were seriously injured Tuesday when they were attacked by a man with a box cutter near the Neighborhood Service Organization in the 3400 block of 3rd Street. A woman near the NSO building reported a sprained ankle and the two EMS workers worked on her across the street. When the crew determined that the woman wouldn't be transported in the rig, a man she was with became enraged and pulled out a weapon. While the attacker stabbed and slashed EMT Alfredo Rojas, 25, EMT Kelly Adams, 49, came to his aid. The attacker then stabbed and slashed Adams. - (Black-on-white) |

Report: (Black) Teen's tongue bitten off during sex assault in North Charleston (on a 33-yr-old White woman)  NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A 16-year-old sex assault suspect's tongue was bitten off by his alleged victim during an early morning attack last Friday at her Sumner Avenue home, police say. Police identified the teenaged suspect as Antoine Tremane Miller, of Remount Road. He was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, first-degree kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. During a bond hearing Saturday, bail was set for the weapons charge and the assault charge at $250,000 each. He was denied bond on the other charges. According to North Charleston police, officers were dispatched to Remount and North Murray avenues shortly after 7 a.m. to tend to the 33-year-old victim who fled her home after the attack. The report notes that there was blood on the floor of the bedroom when the officers arrived. According to the report, the woman told police she heard a knock at her door at 6:30 a.m. but when she answered it, no one was there. There was a second knock at her door, she told officers, and again no one was there. Then her doorbell rang and when she opened the door, a black man holding a knife was standing on her porch. The woman told police she screamed and tried to run back in the house, but Miller forced his way inside her home, tackled her, and punched her several times, the report states. "Stop fighting and I won't hurt you," Miller reportedly told the woman before carrying her over his shoulder to the bedroom, the report states. Miller tried to remove the woman's shorts but she reportedly kicked him in the groin. Miller then forced himself on top of her and tried to kiss her, forcing his tongue in her mouth, the report states. The victim retaliated, and "bit his tongue as hard as she could until she heard it snap," she told police. That led to Miller moving away, screaming, she added. The woman said Miller's tongue was still in her mouth, so she ran from her home and threw it on the kitchen floor. She made it to her car and drove until she found an open store so that she could call police. Based on the denoscription the victim gave and Miller's mother's call to 911 because her son did not have a tongue, police were able to locate Miller at the Waffle House on Northwoods Boulevard. - (Black-on-white) |

Police: (Black) Couple Swipes Cash and Credit Cards from 78-Year-Old (White) Woman  PHILADELPHIA Police say a couple on a shopping spree using the cash and credit cards they swiped from a 78-year-old woman. That victim says her act of generosity cost her dearly, but aside from the money there's one thing she desperately wants back. Marie Bonner was inspired by the pope's recent visit to Philadelphia, Marie Bonner kindly stopped to help a complete stranger at the jewelry counter in Kohl's recently and it cost her dearly. “He told me he needed a present for his grandmother and I picked out three necklaces that I thought she would like,” she said. While Marie was helping the man, police say, a woman was caught on tape, rummaging through Marie’s pocketbook and stealing her wallet. “I suddenly didn't have a wallet,” Marie explained. According to police, the stranger and his female accomplice quickly left the store and headed to the Boulevard using Marie's credit cards, they went on a 35 minute shopping spree, spending over $3,500. “I guess somebody was very desperate for cash that they had to do something like that,” said Marie. Detectives say the two bandits went to Macy's to buy electronics, including a big screen TV. They stopped at two Wawa gas stations on the Boulevard and bought a lot of gift cards allegedly using Marie’s credit cards. The extravagant spending spree ended when Marie quickly notified authorities. Marie is hoping to get a prized possession back from the stolen wallet. a cherished photo of her late husband before he died. “They shot the wrong house:” Three (blacks) arrested & charged in death of (White) five-year-old Laylah Petersen  MILWAUKEE -- Nearly a year after the tragic death of Laylah Petersen, on Tuesday, October 20th, Milwaukee police announced the arrest of three suspects -- who have been charged in connection with Petersen's death. Laylah Petersen would have turned six years old on September 23rd. But her young life was cut short when she was shot and killed by a stray bullet while she was sitting on her grandfather's lap inside a home near 58th and Fairmount on November 6, 2014. Petersen died at the hospital, as a result of two gunshot wounds to her head. Her death was ruled a homicide. The three people charged in this case are: 20-year-old Carl Barrett, 23-year-old Arlis Gordon and 24-year-old Paul Farr. Police say Farr and Barrett were arrested on October 14th in Milwaukee. Gordon was arrested in suburban Chicago on October 17th on unrelated charges. - (Black-on-white) |

(White) Man convicted of orchestrating fatal home invasion (by pack of four blacks)   DULUTH, Ga. -- A man who authorities say orchestrated a fatal home invasion in Duluth, Ga. has been convicted of murder. A Gwinnett County jury convicted Brian Brewner in the death of 37-year-old Adam Schrier. Authorities say although Brewner was not physically involved in the home invasion, he was the mastermind that led four others to break into the home in August of 2014. Brewner was convicted of a number of charges, including felony murder and cruelty to children. Prosecutors say sentencing is set for a later date. - (Black-on-white) |

Hunter, 25, was arrested Monday after an unprovoked attack on a homeless woman in Atlantic City’s Brown Park over the weekend that was recorded and posted to Facebook, the Press of Atlantic City reports. Police identified Hunter from the video after someone shared a link with the Press of Atlantic City, which passed it on to authorities. In the video, posted Saturday by user Bdsb BroadDay, Hunter in standing in front of the 45-year-old victim and asks her: “I ain’t gonna do what? I ain’t gonna grab you? (Black) Man Wanted In West Village Pistol-Whipping (of Blonde White Woman) Robbed Another Victim   NEW YORK — Police say a man wanted for pistol-whipping a woman in the West Village last weekend robbed a man just minutes before. Police had already been searching for the gunman in connection with a robbery on Hudson Street near West 10th Street around 3:50 a.m. Saturday. The man followed the 26-year-old victim into a building and demanded her bag at gunpoint, police said. The suspect then hit the woman in the head with his gun, took the bag and ran off, police said. Police believe the same suspect robbed an 18-year-old man in front of 35 E. Ninth St., near University Place, at 3:35 a.m. The suspect exited the passenger side of a small, light-colored SUV, began talking to the victim and then displayed a gun and demanded the teen’s property, police said. The robber made off with an LG cellphone and fled westbound on East Ninth in the SUV. He is described as a black man, 18 to 25 years old. - (Black-on-white) |

Knocked to the ground with a single punch, and then moments later, kicked in the face and left bleeding in the street. The victim was brutally attacked during April’s unrest in front of a liquor store that was later set on fire. “We want to make sure the city knows we are going to hold people accountable for their violent actions that took place that day,” said Dave Cheplak, ATF special agent. (Black) Penn Hills H.S. Student Charged In Attack on (White) Security Guard    PENN HILLS – A Penn Hills High School student is charged with beating up a school security guard. According to police, the incident happened last week at the high school and was recorded by another student. The student is identified as 18-year-old Eddie Thrash. Last Wednesday, another student used his cell phone to record the incident in a hallway of the school and then post it on Facebook. The guard approached Thrash around 1:30 p.m., told him to get out of the hallway and go to class. First, police say there was a verbal argument, but then things got physical. The guard told police Thrash put his arms around his waist, lifted him up and threw him to the floor. Thrash landed on top of him, and allegedly punched the guard seven to eight times about the face. “The kid was just charged with a felony, and the judge let him go on his own recognizance,” Thrash remains out on his own recognizance. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26. He faces numerous charges, including aggravated and simple assault and harassment, and authorities say he admitted to police he did it. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Boyfriend charged in death of (white) woman found near Jones Valley Target  Huntsville police charged the boyfriend of the woman found dead behind a Target shopping center in Jones Valley early Friday morning with her murder. William Lewis Payton, 41, of Huntsville was arrested Friday night and charged with the murder of Tonya Lynn Amerson, 27, according to Huntsville police. Casser Williams is charged with one count of felony armed robbery and one count of felony aggravated battery. Chicago police identified him as the suspect who harmed a 24-year-old woman who was standing on a Blue Line’s Clark/Lake subway platform early Friday. Williams allegedly slashed the woman’s face with a knife and stole her cell phone before fleeing and being captured by police with the help of witnesses. (Black) Man arrested in Brooklyn Center - he stole purse from dying (White) woman - collapsed in laundromat   BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - As if dealing with the sudden death of her mother wasn't enough, a Twin Cities woman is struggling to understand how anyone could be cold enough to steal a purse from someone who had collapsed and was in medical distress. Officers were called to a laundromat Tuesday afternoon on reports of a woman who had collapsed and needed medical attention. While they were trying to save the woman, identified as Kim Elgren-Rheault, two witnesses came up and told officers that a man grabbed the victim's purse and ran off. Elgren-Rheault was released from the hospital Tuesday night and subsequently died on Wednesday. (Negroid) Cabdriver Facing Charges for Shooting (Caucasian) Boss Over Money: Police   A suburban Philadelphia cabdriver is facing charges this weekend after authorities say he shot his boss during a dispute over money on Friday. Ozzie Lou Clark, 45, was in Abington Township on Saturday facing charges. Police say Clark felt he was owed money by the cab company he worked for, the Montco Suburban Taxi Company, and got into a dispute with company supervisor Alex Kagan over the debt Friday afternoon. During that dispute, police said, Clark pulled a gun and shot Kagan, and then wouldn't allow anyone to call an ambulance until someone cut him a check. Black live-in boyfriend shot his white 'girlfriend' and she is now paralized so she is suing 911 for slow response  New records obtained by the attorney for a Dallas domestic violence victim detail what they claim to be failed response to repeated 911 calls before a shooting that left her paralyzed. Police did not reach Roxanna Mayo until after the Jan. 19, 2015, attack by her former boyfriend. "I expected them to be there," Mayo said. "I wouldn't be paralyzed if they had shown up the first time or the second time or even the third time." Mayo said she ran a successful salon before the shooting but is unable to support her four children now as she receives care in a nursing home. A 911 recording of one call from the daughter was made at 4:40 p.m., 26 minutes before a neighbor called to report the 5:06 p.m. shooting. "My step dad is hitting my mom, and we're in the middle of the street. He threw a beer at my mom's face," the girl said. The girl told the 911 operator that the man had a gun and she had seen him with it that day. She described the location near Thurgood Marshall Elementary School. "OK, we've got the call in. We'll get officers down there for you," the operator said. When police arrived afterward, Mayo said officers poked her as she lay paralyzed on the floor. "They were just kind of mocking me and laughing at me, and they said, 'Calm down, you just have one bullet wound,'" Mayo said. Charges against 49-year-old Travis Lane were filed Wednesday. He is jailed and does not have a listed attorney. Lane is accused in the death of 28-year-old Jennie Jo Blankenship. Her body was found Aug. 16 in a bathtub of her apartment in Hannibal. An autopsy determined she had sustained blunt force trauma. Jesse Anderson Petite was being held in the Mansfield jail Friday following his arrest a day earlier on a capital murder warrant. Petite is accused of robbing and fatally stabbing Jeffrey White. White, 52, was found dead on his living room couch Sept. 29 in his apartment in the 250 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. His throat had been cut. Homicide Sgt. David Poole and a woman were walking near West Park in May when three men attacked them. One stole the woman’s cell phone and another robbed Poole of $60 before punching him and knocking him to the ground. Poole, who was 44-years-old, died from his injuries in July. Allegheny County police arrested 17-year-old Marquice Moran Wednesday. Investigators said he is one of the three suspects. (Black) Fort Campbell soldier charged in shooting death of (White) 2-year-old Clarksville boy  CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police arrested a Fort Campbell soldier Wednesday in the shooting death of 2-year-old Joseph Bankston in Clarksville. Clarksville police reported 21-year-old Pfc. Zackery Alexander was first developed as a person of interest in the case. After interviewing Alexander and collecting additional evidence on Wednesday, he was charged with criminal homicide for the death of Joseph Bankston. Police said Alexander went into a home on Princeton Drive on Oct. 4 and shot (the mother's boyfriend) 22-year-old Brandon Jimenez several times before intentionally shooting Joseph. (White) Disabled Vietnam vet has wheelchair stolen in Stockton ( by two cowardly criminal blacks) STOCKTON, Calif. —Two men confronted a 65-year-old disabled man for money Wednesday afternoon in Stockton, only to steal his wheelchair. George Miranda was out around 12:30 pm, when he was approached by two men. "...He asked me, 'Hey can you buy me a beer?', and I said, 'No, I don't have no money'… and that's when he pushed me out of my wheelchair and just took off with my wheelchair," Miranda said. Miranda severely injured his left leg four years ago, and said all the tendons are gone. "I can barely move it on its own…I have to use my hand to pick it up," said Miranda. He said he can't get around unless it's with a wheelchair. A crutch only helps him travel for only one block. Miranda said the wheelchair disappeared as quickly as the man who stole it. "I don't know what I'm gonna do," he said. Miranda has been living with his wife and dog in a small room at the Crest Motel for the last 6 months. The couple shares the wheelchair. With money being tight, a new wheelchair is out of the question for now. The one he lost was donated. Now Stockton police need the community's help finding the person responsible. Interracial homosexual 'couple' murder suicide  ELKHORN—Authorities have named the victim and shooter in an apparent murder-suicide that occurred over the weekend in Elkhorn. Joseph Hensel, 27, and Christopher Lemock, 32, were the two men found dead Saturday inside 220½ S. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn. The two shared the home in what Police Chief Joel Christensen called a "domestic relationship." Hensel and Lemock lived together for about seven years. Police continue to investigate motive and the extent of the two men's relationship. Investigators believe it was a murder-suicide based on the evidence gathered at the scene, Christensen said. Police said it appears Lemock shot and killed Hensel on Saturday morning. (Black) Suspect charged with murder after (White) man dies from blow to head at Moccasin Bend  A 38-year-old father of three who was attacked while in a common area at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute on Oct. 7 died Sunday, and the man suspected of attacking him now faces a murder charge. Police say Leviticus Avery, 37, hit Kevin Green in the head with an object just before 7 a.m. on Oct. 7 in a day room at the psychiatric hospital. Avery, an inmate at the Hamilton County Jail at the time of the attack, was arrested for vandalism and aggravated assault in July. His criminal history in Hamilton County includes at least 37 charges dating back to 1998. Police added a first-degree murder charge to the list after Green died from his injuries on Sunday. Sheriff: (Black) Man suspected of murdering 76-year-old white grandmother was recently released from NJ prison  Columbia, SC - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says the man accused of killing a 76-year-old woman earlier this week had been released from prison just a few months ago. Lott announced the arrest of 42-year-old James Heyward on Tuesday in the death of Alice Tollison. On Sunday, Lott said Heyward broke into the woman's home on Edgewater Drive and got into a struggle with her. He then strangled the woman and tied up her eight-year--old granddaughter, deputies say, before ransacking the home and stealing jewelry. After he left, the granddaughter was able to get to a phone and call 9-1-1. Officers were able to track him down using prints at the scene to a room on Crestwood Road that he was renting with his wife. Heyward had known Tollison in the past, Lott said. - (Black-on-white) |

And police say he took out his rage on a jogger he hacked to death at random Monday morning in northeast Dallas. Authorities said Johnson, 21, admitted to detectives that he used a “large bladed knife” to kill the unidentified jogger just before 8 a.m. on the White Rock Creek Trail. “It appears Mr. Johnson picked this victim at random. Incoherent black man shoots White gas station clerk in face and stomach - over nachos? - (not a robbery)   INDIANAPOLIS - A man working at a Speedway gas station at the intersection of East 71st Street and North Keystone Avenue was shot around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Seven hours later, police arrested a 27-year-old man in connection to the shooting around 8 a.m. Tuesday. A family member watched the news and called to turn in the suspect. He was arrested at the Colonial Square Apartments in the 5700 block of Renn Lane. Officers cautiously ordered the suspect out. On the second attempt, he slowly came out with his hands up at which point officers then handcuffed him and took him in for questioning. Police say the suspect entered the store and began a conversation about nachos with the employee. The employee told police the suspect was incoherent and acting strangely and that the suspect then left the gas station and later returned with a gun. The employee was shot in the face and the stomach. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in critical, but stable condition.His condition later changed to serious Officers say they are uncertain about a motive and do not believe the two men know one another. 2 (armed blacks) lured White man and his 72-yr-old father in Craigslist ambush - jumped them but blacks got shot   BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Two men have been charged after police say they ambushed a father and son during a Craigslist transaction in Battle Creek earlier this week. Christian Logan, 23, and Torry Pesche, 19, have been arraigned on armed robbery charges in connection to the incident. Logan was arraigned in court Friday afternoon on two counts of armed robbery and one count of a felony firearm charge. Police said it’s alleged that Logan had a gun with him Tuesday evening. Pesche faces the same two counts of armed robbery, but was arraigned from the hospital Thursday and remains in stable condition. Police said 42-year-old Jon Vanderwiel and his father, 72-year-old Robert Vanderwiel, drove to Battle Creek’s Urbandale neighborhood Tuesday evening for a meeting to buy a classic car they saw on Craigslist. When they arrived, police said the father and son were jumped by Logan, Pesche and a third individual. Rotting corpse of white woman that lived with black man discovered due to odor - black comitted suicide MANCHESTER – The body of a missing city woman was found Sunday night hidden behind a fake wall in a closet of her own apartment at 169A Calef Road, authorities said. Sue Hutchinson, 57, had been missing since Sept. 30 as was her roommate, Stephen Andrade, 36. Six days later, Andrade was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Motel 6 room in Tewskbury, Mass. Statements made by Andrade shortly before he killed himself indicated he'd killed Hutchinson, concealed her body and fled. On Sunday, police detectives and firefighters went to 169A Calef Road after members of Hutchinson's family reported a strange odor in the building. They searched various areas throughout the building before detectives eventually found a crawl space hidden behind a false wall panel inside a closet in Hutchinson's apartment. They removed the wall panel in that closet and discovered a woman's body, believed to be Hutchinson's, concealed inside. A positive identification will not be made until after an autopsy Tuesday. (White) Student robbed, viciously beaten on Columbus campus (by three cowardly black males)  COLUMBUS, Ohio — A central Ohio student was severely injured after an assault and robbery last month, and investigators are asking for tips to help find the suspect. Shaun Kaltenbach had just finished classes at Columbus State Community College and was on his way home on the evening of September 14, according to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers. Just after 9 p.m., he was walking down Spring Street, near Talmadge Street, when he noticed three unknown males walking ahead of him. Shortly after crossing the street, Kaltenbach was attacked by the three suspects. The suspects viciously beat Kaltenbach about the head, face and body knocking him unconscious. He was later able to make it to a nearby residence where police and medics were called. He suffered several broken bones to the face, requiring reconstructive surgery. The suspects robbed Kaltenbach of his clothing, cell phone, keys, book bag, books and various forms of identification. The suspects are described as black males in their late teens to early 20s. (White) Denver woman says (black) man who agreed to buy MacBook Pro online robbed her  DENVER - She didn't want her face shown but her scars are visible. "I have road rash scrapes and bruises from him grabbing on to me," said a Denver robbery victim, who wanted to remain anonymous. She is sharing her story because she hopes no one else has to go through what she went through Friday. "I just didn't think this would happen to me, because he looked like a nice guy -- he was young," said the 19-year-old victim. The victim was trying to sell her MacBook Pro on OfferUp to save up for a new car that she would use to drive to work and school. User “Max Long” was interested in buying the laptop. The two set up a time to meet outside the 19-year-old victim's home. When the man arrived, he grabbed her laptop but refused to pay. The victim then tried to grab it back and the two began fighting. The man then ran to the car and handed the Mac to a female passenger. The victim ran after him to stop him from leaving. "I was holding his fists so he wouldn't hit me and was like honking the horn with my other foot,” said the victim. During the scuffle, the victim heard what she believes is Max Long's real name. "His girlfriend said, 'Let’s go, Corey,'” said the victim. He managed to throw the victim out of car, she said, and took off not just with her laptop but with her iPhone 6 too. The phone had fallen in the suspect's car during the fight. The victim's mother, Charlene Bettale, wants justice for her daughter. "Even if we don't get the items back, I want this guy caught," Bettale said. The suspect was a black man, believed to be driving a boxy, four-door green car with no license plate.The victim is trying to raise money to make up for lost items.

Jessica Leigh Mock, 27, and Derrick Lamar Louis, 20, were both found dead in Louis’ family's driveway. A woman who lives nearby and wishes to remain anonymous said it was a somber scene. “It's really sad that this had to happen on the Lord’s day,” she said. Neighbors said they heard two or three gunshots around 10 a.m. Sunday. Investigators said when police got to Westover Drive, they found a gun and the couple inside an SUV parked in the driveway. Capt. Dominic Piscitello, of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, said investigators will figure out what happened Sunday morning. “We're looking at the circumstances surrounding the incident and we're going to put together the puzzle of what happened inside of that vehicle this morning,” Piscitello said. Investigators did not say who they believe to be the shooter. Louis’ mother said the two came over Saturday in a good mood. She said they were coming to visit before heading to work Sunday morning. (Black) Man Pleads Guilty In Disappearance, Death (of his white friend)  MINNEAPOLIS — An admission of guilt in the disappearance and death of a Wright County man will send Robert Nuttall to prison for 20 years. Nuttall pleaded guilty Friday to felony unintentional murder of Christopher Rossing, who disappeared in August of 2014 near Howard Lake. Nuttall and his girlfriend, Gwen Butcher, were the last people seen with Rossing after a night of drinking. The guilty plea entered into Wright County District Court does not fully explain what happened in the early morning hours of Aug. 23, 2014. Most importantly, how Rossing died and what happened to his remains. Nuttall only admits that the two friends got into a roadside fight along highway 12, west of Howard Lake as the two were walking home. “Mr. Nuttall admitted that he assaulted Christopher Rossing, he didn’t intend to kill him, but he admits that as a result of his assault, that Christopher Rossing died,” Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly said. - (Black-on-white) |

A division of the 2nd District Court of Appeals ruled this week that a public university has no general obligation to protect its students from crimes committed by other students. The 2-1 ruling came in a negligence lawsuit filed against the University of California regents by Katherine Rosen. Her attorney says he’ll appeal. Triple homicide suspect’s trial set   NEWTON - The capital case of a Claremont man charged with a triple homicide is scheduled for a March 7, 2016, according to a Catawba County Superior Court news release published Tuesday. Capital cases are cases that can result in the death penalty. Everette Porshau Hewitt, 37, of Claremont, was charged with three counts of murder regarding the March 15, 2011 shooting deaths of Wade Sigmon, Susan Blevins and Connie Miller at Oak Knoll Mobile Home Park on Emmanuel Church Road in Conover. Hewitt also is accused of shooting Joseph Burke in the neck in the same incident. Burke survived. In addition to the murder charges, Hewitt also was charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, one count of first degree burglary, and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to the news release. - (Black-on-white) |

Accused 'gay' black killer had party in home while body of his 'gay' disabled white 'partner' dead in closet  PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- As Wayne McClellan entertained guests at his boyfriend's apartment Saturday night, his partner was dead in a bedroom closet. Sunday morning, McClellan flagged down a Chesapeake officer and told him the location of John "Jack" Craig's body, kept inside his home in the Independence Square Apartments. Officers found the 53-year-old's body tied up in the closet, with his arms behind his back and a knot around his neck. A plastic bag covered Craig's face, which "ultimately led to [his] death," according to court documents. McClellan, 49, did not indicate that he knew anything about the death initially. But later confessed to killing Craig to assist in a suicide, according to the court document. Neighbors said he and Craig had been a couple for several years. It's nasty," said Moody, who recalled a strange odor coming into her neighboring apartment but dismissed it. People who knew Craig said he often would use his motorized wheelchair to make runs to the store and travel around the area. Clifford McKee, 49, and Rodney McKee, 27, have been charged with open murder, conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree, solicitation of murder, and first-degree home invasion, a news release issued by the Jackson County Prosecutor's office said. In addition, a third man, Cortez Butler, 43, has been charged with open murder, conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree, and first-degree home invasion. Rodney McKee conspired with his relative, Clifford McKee, to have a witness killed in a pending arson case. Frances Craig was not the witness, and was not targeted. Trial underway for (black) man accused of killing (White) Metra officer  The widow of a Metra police officer who was shot in the back of the head and killed more than nine years ago testified Tuesday in the trial of the felon accused of slaying her husband. Jemetric Nicholson, 28, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Thomas Cook, a 43-year-old veteran police officer who had been working a special detail near the 147th Street Metra station in Harvey when he was killed. Pam Cook testified Tuesday at the Cook County courthouse in Markham that she spoke with her husband on the phone about their son playing soccer about 7:30 p.m. the night of his death. She told the jury that she tried calling him back twice that night before four officers came to her home about 10 p.m. and told her that her husband was involved in a crime scene. Cook, a father of two from Indiana, was sitting in a Metra police car near the train station in Harvey when he was shot twice in the back of the head. He had been working overtime as part of an effort to investigate robberies at the station. Cook had been with Metra police since 2003 and had served 10 years with the Riverdale Police Department. (Black) Suspect identified in murder of (White) St. Charles County teen in St. Louis  ST. LOUIS, MO - A St. Charles teen is dead and another man is in custody after the city`s latest murder overnight in north St. Louis. The murder occurred October 1 at about 10:30 p.m. on Sexauer near Bircher. Police arrived to find 19-year-old Sean Engel shot multiple times and unconscious inside of a car. Engel was pronounced dead at the scene. Jamar Haskim Mack, 24, is identified as suspect. He has been charged with murder, two counts of armed criminal action and robbery. A probable cause statement from police says Mack admits to shooting Engle after a struggle in the vehicle. Investigators say Engel and the Mack knew each other and got into a dispute. Witnesses report hearing a gunshot and Mack telling Engel to, "Give it up." That's when police say the suspect shot Engel inside his Mini Cooper.
